RTP8

20cm 8" Vented Powered Enclosure with 120W RMS Class-D amplifier and EBC remote control

Introduction

The MTX RTP8 amplified bass-reflex subwoofer is equipped with a 20cm subwoofer and it is powered by a Class-D 120W RMS amplifier. Reproducing so much bass in such a small cabinet is no small feat. The integrated amplifier is highly efficient. Thanks to its class-D operation it dissipates little heat and produces a lot of power. It is dynamic and precise. It is protected by a limiter which allows it to be used 100% without fear for reliability. The 20cm subwoofer benefits from a remarkable finish with its injected, brushed and electroplated cone. It is also equipped with a magnetic structure allowing it to cope with the assaults of the amp without overheating. The box is monobloc for more rigidity. It never vibrates and therefore it does not produce distortion. The RTP8 has the performance of a large cabinet, but super low in size and price.

Recommended efficient associations

The RTP8 powered enclosure is the perfect bass complement in an original installation with 4 speakers connected to the head-unit.
Same story if you replace the original speakers with better quality ones like MTX TX2, TX4, TX6. The RTP8 will give a new dimension to your sound system, and add what any speaker is not able to provide: deep and loud bass…
