The TX4 speakers are an important milestone for MTX. We've never spent so much time and energy on speakers - with the possible exception of the TX8... We restarted twice from scratch to achieve the best possible speakers. But it was worth it.... The TX4 range represents the best possible product and the best sound quality at this price level. Simple, isn't it ? :)

We have made significant efforts for TX4 :

• We have increased the efficiency by more than 5 dB compared to RTS speakers. It is an impressive change. The sound is close to a high-efficiency speaker, but with a lot of bass.

• We used super light paper membranes to improve the efficiency and to smooth the sound.

• We covered the paper cones with small pieces of silver-plated sand to make the sound softer and raise the musicality.

• We put an aluminum phase plug in the center of the woofers (compos) to eliminate standing waves and reproduce a perfectly clear midrange.

• We used giant strontium magnet structures to make the loudspeaker fast and powerful… Usually, we are not stingy when it comes to magnets, but here we went really far… Efficiency and dynamics of sound thank us.

• We have developed a new 25mm silk dome tweeter with neodymium magnet. It is powerful and invasive, without any aggressivity.

• We used a 6dB/oct passive x-over on the tweeter and the woofer to give life to music, whatever is your location in the vehicle.

• In the passive x-over, we used high quality polypropylene capacitors to preserve maximum quality in the high frequencies.

• We have equipped the passive x-over with two tweeter levels to always get the right balance, despite the tweeter position in the car.

• We have fitted the x-over with a PTC (Thermistor) to protect the tweeter when the volume is a little too high... I'm you know what I mean here… :)
